Project Brief:

St Giles and St Georges were looking for playground equipment to complement their school grounds and new extension. The challenge was to “to create something we could get excited about…” Mrs Evans, Head Teacher.

The Result:

The natural look and shape of the timbers coupled with the dense texture of the hardwood offered the unique appearance and feel that the school wanted to achieve.

Three stages later and the Robinia playscape is now complete and used with enthusiasm and excitement by the pupils.

With the double tower unit and spiders web offering a variety of climbing difficulties to satisfy pupils of differing abilities and levels of confidence. As well as an agility trail with 14 unique elements that encourages competitiveness, communication and social skills. The school have seen an increase in teamwork, taking turns and cooperation from the students playing and learning on the equipment.
