£90k project for a Primary School in Milton Keynes that features unique and inspiring Robinia wood climbing structures, sand pits and meeting points for pupils aged 4 to 11.

Location: Milton Keynes
Age Group: Primary
Product Range: Robinia
Surfacing: Nomo and Rubber Mulch
Project Value: £90,000

Project Brief

The challenge was to provide equipment for three different areas across the school: a main playground for climbing and imaginative play, a foundation area for smaller climbing and themed play, and finally a Nursery with a messy play, digging and planting play area.

The Result

KOMPAN’s organic Robinia range was perfect for the three areas, from large tower units in the main playground to the sandplay area in the Nursery. Moorlands loved the natural look of the Robinia range and the equipment has been very popular with students, even being used as an incentive for good behaviour.

“Very happy with the site team and the tidy way they worked, even their approach to security in locking up / closing each day”.

“Love the nursery and sand play area and the way this has been transformed... it allowed the children to benefit from a wonderful new space that wasn’t even considered before KOMPAN designed it”.
